Install

desyr, right on your device.

On your Home Screen, in your Dock or Start menu: desyr opens in its own window, with notifications. A few taps, no app store needed.

Open desyr

You install desyr at its own address, app.desyr.chat. Here is how:

This device

iPhone and iPad

  1. Open app.desyr.chat in Safari or Chrome.
  2. Tap Share : in Safari at the bottom (on an iPad at the top), in Chrome in the address bar.
  3. Choose “Add to Home Screen” (scroll down a little if you don’t see it), then “Add”.
  4. Open desyr from your Home Screen and sign in there.

It then opens like an app, full screen, and can send you notifications.

This device

Android

  1. Open app.desyr.chat in Chrome.
  2. Tap the menu at the top right, then “Install app” (on older phones: “Add to Home screen”).
  3. Confirm with “Install”.

desyr then sits on your home screen and among your apps, like any other app.

This device

Mac with Safari

  1. Open app.desyr.chat in Safari (macOS Sonoma or newer).
  2. In the menu bar choose File → “Add to Dock…” (it’s in the Share menu too).
  3. Click “Add”.

desyr then has its own window and its own icon in the Dock.

This device

Mac and Windows with Chrome or Edge

  1. Open app.desyr.chat in Chrome or Edge.
  2. Click the install icon at the right end of the address bar, then “Install”.

desyr then opens in its own window, from the Dock or the Start menu. Already in desyr? It’s also under Settings → About → “Install desyr”.

This device

Firefox on a computer

Firefox on a computer can’t put desyr in your Dock or Start menu. To install it, open app.desyr.chat in Safari, Chrome or Edge and follow the steps for that browser. Or simply keep using desyr in Firefox: everything works in the browser too.
